Veerle Ronsse is president and founder of I-ARKS.org, the first ever women lead innovator platform in space, medicine and nature's health. It was founded based on identified gaps in biodiversity conservation over the last 40 years as well as humanity's desire and need to live multi-planetary.
Veerle has a medical scientific background in human and veterinary medicine, multidisciplinary, including reproductive biology and technology, CNS, metabolic/cardiovascular and infectious diseases, oncology, vaccine and drug development. She has 4 university degrees (magna cum laude / summa cum laude) and believes in lifelong learning.
She has more than a decade of worldwide experience in senior executive medical/scientific and commercial functions in both human and veterinary medicine (top 10 worldwide pharmaceutical multinationals). She also spent few years in aerospace sr management as president and founder of i-arks.org
She is an extrapreneur, conceptual artist and inventor. She believes society needs to invest far greater in the pre-competitive arena and bridge across sectors and disciplines.
She is passionate about survival of humanity and complex life in the very long term (millions of years).
She has a book in draft on the future of humanity & multi-planetary life towards 2050.
